LabStock is an inventory tool for research labs. It is used by invitation only. This page explains what it stores about you and why.
What we store
- Your email address and name, from Google sign-in or from the email address you sign in with.
- Which labs you belong to and your role in each.
- What you record in a lab: items, storage locations, safety data sheets, and a history of who changed what and when.
- Your weekly email choices.
How it is used
Only to run LabStock: to sign you in, show you your labs, keep each lab’s history, and send sign-in codes and, if you are an Admin or Manager and have not switched it off, a weekly summary email. There is no advertising, no selling of data and no tracking across other sites.
Who can see it
Each lab’s data is visible only to that lab’s members, with the rights of their role. Other labs cannot see it. Your name and email are visible to the members of the labs you belong to.
Where it is kept
- Supabase stores the database and files.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend delivers sign-in codes and weekly emails.
- Google handles sign-in for those who choose “Continue with Google”.
Cookies and browser storage
LabStock uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember the last lab you opened, and browser storage only for your appearance choices (light or dark mode and colour).
Removing your data
A lab Admin can remove you from a lab, and can delete items and the lab’s records. To have your account and personal details deleted entirely, write to habib.r.k.12@gmail.com.
